Prospects for resuming an investment project suspended due to the pandemic in Namangan region were discussed in Muscat

Representatives of the Embassy of our country met with the head of the Al Hamdani Group company, Abdullah al-Hamdani, in the capital of Oman, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports.

Al Hamdani Group, established in 2005, is considered one of the most experienced investment companies in the Sultanate of Oman, and its main strategy is agriculture, logistics, oil and gas, trade, business expansion, banking, construction of large buildings, construction of hotel complexes .

In 2019, between the khokimiyat of Namangan region and Al Hamdani Group, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a health center and a hotel in the Chartak district of Namangan region, the cost of which is 200 million euros. However, in 2020, due to the spread of the pandemic, the implementation of this project was temporarily suspended.

At the beginning of the conversation, Abdullah al-Hamdani sincerely congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the successful holding of the Constitutional referendum on April 30 and expressed confidence that this important political process will mark the beginning of a new era in the country’s history and become the legal basis for its comprehensive development.

According to the head of Al Hamdani Group, despite the difficult geopolitical and geo-economic situation currently observed in the world, the effective trade, economic and investment policy pursued by Uzbekistan increases the interest of foreign investors in the region.

In this regard, the company stated that it wants to continue the projects started in 2019 in our country, including in the Namangan region, to study new proposals and establish cooperation with local manufacturing enterprises, and also visit Uzbekistan in the coming months.
