A meeting was held at the MIIT between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and Wang Xianjun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese company, LEO Group, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The parties discussed the implementation of promising investment projects for the production of modern pumping equipment and the development of water management infrastructure in Uzbekistan. Specifically, views were exchanged on the prospects of constructing pumping stations based on PPP principles, as well as the creation of a specialized technopark for the development of advanced engineering and technological solutions.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for the implementation of the projects, the expansion of mutually beneficial partnerships, and the further strengthening of business ties. It is expected that the introduction of LEO Group technologies will significantly increase the efficiency of water resource management and modernize existing irrigation systems across the regions of the republic.
