New amenities for investors are being introduced in Uzbekistan

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan approved the administrative regulations for the provision of public services to investors in the territory of special economic zones, the correspondent of “Dunyo” news agency reports with reference to the information and legal portal “Norma.uz”.

In accordance with the document, from December 1, 2023, to receive the following government services, in addition to Unified Portal of Interactive Public Service and government service centers, you can contact the directorate of special economic zones directly:

• placement of investment projects;
• registration of participants;
• concluding agreements on the implementation of investment projects and leases.

The document approves the regulations for the provision of relevant public services.

After receiving the application and attached documents, the directorate:

• within 10 days makes a decision on the implementation of the investment project;
• puts up the required area of land or building for online auction;
• concludes an agreement on the implementation of an investment project with the auction winner;

After submitting the necessary documents and a one-time fee, registers the investor as a participant in the FEZ.
